RH134 Review: Part 2 Practice Exam
Exam-style practice: servera must be ready for a new WebAsha training batch. Work against the clock (45 minutes), with no hints if you can manage it. Everything must survive a reboot.
Tasks
- Write the executable script /usr/local/bin/userlist.sh that prints the names of all users with a UID of 1000 or more (but below 65534), one per line, sorted alphabetically.
- In student's crontab, run /usr/local/bin/userlist.sh /home/student/users.txt every day at 23:45.
- Create the volume group vgreview on /dev/vdb, and in it an 800 MiB logical volume lvweb with ext4, mounted on /srv/web at boot by UUID.
- Create a 512 MiB GPT partition /dev/vdd1 as swap, active now and at boot by UUID.
- Mount serverb:/exports/shared on /review/shared with NFS at boot, and now.
- Open 8080/tcp in the default firewall zone, now and permanently.
- Run localhost/webasha/pyweb:1.0 as the systemd service revweb.service (container name revweb), host port 8080 to container port 8000, started now and at boot.
