RH124 Ch 16: Troubleshoot and Collect Support Data

The WebAsha monitoring agent on servera is down and Red Hat support has asked for system details. Diagnose the failure, fix it, and collect an sos report for the support case.

Tasks

1. Save the number of CPUs servera has to ~/cpus.txt (just the number).
2. Find the failed systemd service that runs the WebAsha monitoring agent and save its unit name to ~/failed-unit.txt.
3. Find out why it fails, fix the cause, and get the service running.
4. Generate an sos report non-interactively, limited to the kernel plugin, saved under /var/tmp/sos.
