CCNA: IPv6 Addressing & Static Routes
The company is adding IPv6. Enable IPv6 routing, address both routers and the PCs, and connect the two LANs with static routes.
Tasks
- On both routers turn on IPv6 routing.
- Address the link: R1 Gi0/0 2001:db8:12::1/64, R2 Gi0/0 2001:db8:12::2/64 (and no shutdown).
- Address the LANs: R1 Gi0/1 2001:db8:1::1/64, R2 Gi0/1 2001:db8:2::1/64; PC1 2001:db8:1::10/64, PC2 2001:db8:2::10/64 with the router as gateway.
- Add IPv6 static routes so each router reaches the other LAN, then ping PC2 from PC1.
